Mardi gras came to my desk today! Dad does this to everyones desk the day before his parade rolls!






We got a package people!!






The frames came in yesterday!!! More pics to come next week!!! So dang excited!!






Dad tried on his costume to make sure everything was kosher! Keller thought it was pretty cool! She likes the feathers best!

Recipe Swap with FF&P!

Sausage Coffeecake:

Cook together and drain well:

1 pound pork sausage

1/2 cup diced onion



Combine and add to sausage & onion:

1/4 c parmesan cheese

1/2 c grates swiss cheese

1 egg, beaten

1/2 t Tabasco

1/2 t salt

2 T parsley



Combine:

1 c Bisquick mix

3/4 c milk

1/4 c mayo


spread 1/2 of batter into greased casserole dish
spoon sausage/cheese mixture
Spoon remaining batter over top


Combine 1 egg yolk and 1T water, beat and brush over top of batter


Bake @ 400 for 25-30 minutes



Doubles well!

Home Tour Tuesday: {Whatcha' Watchin'?}

Here is where we spend the majority of our time! I LOVE that it's open to the kitchen so I can keep up with Keller as I'm cooking dinner, cleaning, etc.. So, here's a peek into our living room! Can you tell I like red and green??!

Miscellany Monday

Wow! What a whirlwind weekend!! It started with a yummy dinner at Big Time Diner (the only place Keller will eat green beans..)! You can see below just how happy she was that we got her some ice cream! =) It's the little things, right?! Anywho, as we wer leaving, and I was rounding up my child, I noticed a little girl that I was sure that I knew! And sure enough, it was "Sweet Bean!" So, that means I got to meet Shannon from over at Webbsiodes, her hubs and the adorable GG! Since Keller did so well at the park this past Saturday (see below), I have a feeling that we'll be seeing much more of each other soon!

Ok, so am I a bad mommy if my daughters first trip to the park is when she's already 19 months old??!! We finally had a gorgeous weekend here on the gulf coast! I sure wish the weather woudl stay like this for 6 months! LOVE it! Anywho, my friend Lindsay and I took Keller to the park for the very first time! See below... she had a blast!

We then ran a few errands, and went home to get ready for dinner with friends at Rocky Creek catfish house in Lucedale! Delish! Here's a quick pic of Keller and I as we waited for our table!

And here, Keller learns a new word! "Hushpuppy"

And then Sunday rolled around! Getting ready for church! I can't believe she kept the pig tails in!!! Seriously, a bow is a no no with her!

And last but not least! The 'hoe is CLEAN! What??!! Seriously ya'll, this is a BIG deal!! ;-P

Thinkin' on Thursday

Gotta give the blog some lovin' on Thursdays too! =)

I'm not sure if I've told you guys yet, but my brother in law got engaged over Christmas! We are so freakin' excited for these two! They were actually high school sweethearts! How sweet is that??! Seriously, they are a match made in heaven... She is adorable inside and out! So, I'm gonna have a new sister in law.. nah nah nah nah boo boo!! ;-)

They got engaged on Christmas eve (I think... I'm terrible with dates.) and the next day, while it was FAH-REEZING we decided to walk down to the reservoir where he proposed and do some impromptu engagement pics! Ok, so this was nothing really planned and it was done all in about 10 minutes! Enjoy!

Dreaming of warm weather...

Last summer, our family took a trip to Key West! By family, I mean mom, dad, sister, me, hubs, Keller and sisters friend... all in my Tahoe. Yes, we drove, ALL.IN.ONE.CAR. FOR.18.HOURS. We did, however, break up the trip and stop in Tampa for a day at Busch Gardens. So, here's a few pics from the trip! I just realized I never posted any, anywhere! What's wrong with me??! =)
