the d word..

Ok, so Wednesday started the dreaded "D" word. You know what I'm talking about... Yeah you do... Don't shake your head.. the diet... There, I said it. It's a lifestyle change, not the "D" word, right??! First starts ketosis. a weeks worth. I will live on grilled, baked, broiled chicken for a week all the while drinking gallons of H2O. Daph, I'm gonna need one of those coolio water bottles! Please share again where you got it! I will be ever so grateful. Exercise starts too. It's been way too long since I've actually "exercised." Seriously.way.too.long. Anywho, it all started on Wednesday. I'm going to try to keep up with a diet tab on here soon, so be on the lookout if you are of any interest! Wish me luck! This is it!

Tuesday... Oh what shall you bring?

As Phil Collins plays in the background I wonder what this day shall hold... Last night I started my very first photography class! So far so good! There are 8 classes in the course and they are 2 hours per class. My hubby signed me up for my birthday and I'm absolutely thrilled for the opportunity! The teacher is pretty cool too which makes class interesting and not a bore like many of my college professors. It turns out that one of my moms highschool friends is taking the class too!

I graduated with a bs degree in Business Management with a concentration in marketing from the University of South Alabama in December of 2004. I haven't been in a classroom on that campus since then! The particular area that I was in last night hasn't changed a bit, but as I drove up I saw bookoodles of construction going on! Thank goodness, because it was starting to get that outdated look about it! It might be a little more pleasant to the eyes for upcoming students! Anywho, he taught on the history of photography for a bit and then cut class short because of the severe thunderstorm threat to our area. That was pretty fab if you ask me! =)

Anywho... paperwork abounds today... So, in the words of the infamous Tigger --ta ta for now!

I got in the kitchen a little bit this weekend and made some cupcakes from scratch and some granola bars! Both turned out pretty tasty, but the granola bars didn't quite firm up like I thought they should.. Oh well, they were still good! I also iced the cupcakes with Betty Crocker icing! So, is that sacreligious??!! You know, to make cupcakes from scratch and not the frosting?? I didn't know I was out of powdered sugar!! lol!

The cupcake thief! I had to take them out of the dish they were in so I could use it, and before I could put them in another container.....

Ok, so we don't have a garage.. My hubs says the crap that should be in a garage is sporadically placed all over our house/yard/shed. LOL! Anywho, here's where we park our cars! Ha! I'm sad that I was quickly snapping this iphone pic this morning and I didn't get the wreath on the side door in it! =/ Oh well.. It's cute, take my word for it! =)

Working and being at the Festival of Flowers for 4 days really doesn't do anything good for my wallet.. =/ Here are a few things that I purchased! =)

Check out this awesomeness that my mom got me! LOVE! I think it will adorn our pack patio as soon as T will hang it! And you can't go to the Festival of Flowers without taking a few pics of the FLOWERS...
