Weekend recap and HTT!

This morning on the way to Gannah's house! I swear she's under there somewhere!

Photobucket

Ok, so we don't have a garage.. My hubs says the crap that should be in a garage is sporadically placed all over our house/yard/shed. LOL! Anywho, here's where we park our cars! Ha! I'm sad that I was quickly snapping this iphone pic this morning and I didn't get the wreath on the side door in it! =/ Oh well.. It's cute, take my word for it! =)

Here's our front door decor. Do you remember me telling you about the sign lady? Yeah, well, this is what I got at the Fairhope art show!

Working and being at the Festival of Flowers for 4 days really doesn't do anything good for my wallet.. =/ Here are a few things that I purchased! =)

A lady from Zimlich's gave Keller this little yellow flower as we were walking by =)

This is where my recipe for this Friday will come from! (hopefully) =)

Check out this awesomeness that my mom got me! LOVE! I think it will adorn our pack patio as soon as T will hang it! And you can't go to the Festival of Flowers without taking a few pics of the FLOWERS...

Here's me! lol

And a couple of pics of my frame display!

Happy Tuesday ya'll!

Monday Monday la la la la...

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

Good morning lovelies! What a weekend! I've been working a booth at a local event called the Festival of Flowers. I'm sure you've seen it mentioned here over the past couple of weeks.. So glad it's over! Had a blast with the girls that I shared the tent with, but so glad to be back to the daily grind! We were up early (7:00) and out by a little after 5:00 every day. So, to say the least, there wasn't much on the relaxation agenda! However, I did get a fw awesome goodies! Took care of mothers day and fathers day as well! Woot woot!

I'll have some pics for ya'll in a couple of days. However, since I missed a couple of days of work last week, it looks like I've got some work to do, so.... see ya later! Hope you all have a fabulous Monday!

Thinkin' on Thursday

I'm off today! I'm getting much better about scheduling my posts so you'll have something to read most days! (and I'm not stuck in front of a computer on my off days!) Anywho, today is the first day of the Festival of Flowers in Mobile! I'm not working the festival today, even though I'm sure I'll show my face at some point! Maybe go check it all out before I'm stuck in our booth! If you're in Mobile and would like to stop by, I'd love to see/meet you! I can't remember the entry fee, but I wanna say something like 10 bucks.. Not positive though. I'll be under the tent called Terri Keller & Friends! (that's my mom) It's mom, me and a couple of other artists! I'm so looking forward to it all! Our tent is set up right across from Al's 5 & 10! Who goes to the festival without stopping by their awesome tent?!? Sooo... stop by and see us! I'll be working Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday.

Miscellany Monday

1.) Soooo not ready to be back at work today..

2.) Wishes the pollen would subside and let me enjoy spring without the itchy watery eyes, sneezing and yucky itchy throat. (so did that sound like a commercial for some allergy meds?)

3.) Trying to get lots of work done at work so I can get ready for the Festival of Flowers in the latter part of the week.

4.) The Festival of Flowers is quickly approaching and the local place where I have my pics printed didn't give me several of the pics I needed for the show. (grrr...)

5.) The family that was visiting this weekend are all gone and the house is semi-clean and half of the floors have been mopped.

6.) Some of them are coming back this weekend to keep K while I work the FOF.

7.) Starbucks didn't help too much this morning. I'm getting a lot done, but my eyes are still heavy. =/

8.) Achoo!

9.) Had a fabulous time at the Fairhope Arts & Crafts Show! Got an adorable new sign for my front door from The Sign Lady! ADORABLE! Seriously ya'll, check out her website. I'm pretty sure she ships!!! (I have a polka dot wreath on my side door and a bunny on the front!) I'll have pics later in the week, had too much to load in the car this morning and forgot the camera. (slap my hand.) Also got some super cute clothes from Kidbodies for K at the show. Seriously, I coulda bought the whole tent! Here are pics of just a couple of the outfits she'll be sporting soon!

Hope you all have a fabulous week! I'll be back soon!

If you're thinking about pics with live bunnies...

DON'T...
-
This time last year... we were in the ER getting stitches in Keller's toe. We took her to have her pictures taken by a local photographer at the botanical gardens. We got her all dressed up in her easter "get up" and Tyler and I along with his mom and step dad went to get them done! We got there, she did a couple of shots, then asked if we'd like to have some done with the live bunnies. So, I thought, sure! Why not? I've seen this done hundreds of times! They're pretty cute when they're outdoors and not in a "studio setting." Right? WRONG.
-
The stupid bunny bit one of her big toes. blood was gushing out of it, I looked at it and we ran to the bathroom, washed it out, bled it out really good, applied pressure. Took her to the pediatricians office at SMH and they sent us directly to the ER. She had 4 stitches in that precious little toe... She was an absolute trooper! She cried when they did the numbing shot, but that's about it! The doctor sid it it would have been any other of her toes than the big one, it would be gone. No toe. =/
-
The bad thing about the timing of it all was that she had just found her toes and was loving playing with them. She also loved "tummy time." Well, that put an end to all of that... She couldn't be on her tummy (per the ER doc) in fear that she'd bust the stitches. We had to keep it bandaged and keep a sock on her foot at all times. No shoes either..
-
Anywho, before this gets too long and drawn out, (because I could talk about it for days) I'll stop... The photographer ended up paying all of her medical bills to say the least. But she still wanted me to BUY the pictures! Seriously??!! I mean, not just no, but HECK NO! I really don't want to remember that day! HELLO!!!! Ok, so here are some pics..

Sitting waiting our turn to get pics taken

In the ER, palying with anything that would keep her attention off that toe.

While they were stitching..

At the Festival of Flowers last year..note the sock.. =(

again..
Tyler being goofy one morning.. He sent me this at work!

Getting her stitches taken out at the dr's office. (and when I sent the photog the final bill for having the stitches removed she said something to the effect of "why didn't you just remove them yourself?" OMGEEEEE people... )

Seriously, don't take pics with live rabbits, unless you intend to make rabbit stew.
