Home Tour Tuesday! ORNAMENTS!

ORNAMENTS! One of my favorite things! Not ONE of the ornaments on my tree are the same! I like to think of our tree as a scrapbook of our lives. Each of them has a story. This was a difficult task to pick some favorites... So, here goes nothing!

This is our new version of elf on the shelf! This is a plush style doll so Keller can play with it! She doesn't get the concept yet, but it's still fun to have him overseeing things in the White house! =) Mom got this for Keller at the Christmas Jubilee. (and of course the ornament had to accompany the elf!)

I love cloisonne ornaments! They're just so elegant! I started collecting these when Tyler and I started dating! We would go every year, the day after Christmas ornament hunting! Tyler was and still is a great ornament shopping partner! Give him a task and he'll find it! =)

Same thing as above, only Waterford here! Love the yearly ornaments they put out!

Amidst all of the fancies are some all time faves! These, as said in a previous post, are ornaments that I remember putting on my grandmothers tree as a little one! It's amazing how vivid those memories are once you pull each one out of the box!

My first ornament from Tyler! =) Our very first Christmas in 2000! Wow, how time flies!

This was a college graduation gift from Tyler's mom and step dad for me!

Each year mom gets us each an ornament to somehow commemorate an event that occurred that year! I think we ate a lot of mexican this particular year! lol!

I picked this up at Objects in Spanish Fort this past weekend! Couldn't pass it up!

  1. Okay if the fleur de lis goes missing off your tree...I might be responsible! Love it!

I also love that store at the Eastern Shore Centre...Objects has so many wonderful things!

We also have the newest version of Elf on the Shelf. He's so much cuter and more kid friendly, I think. The other was a tad on the scary side! Haha!

    Thanks for linking up, friend!

    Have a wonderful Tuesday,
    Shannon
